This was my second attempt at purchasing a replacement AC adapter for my ASUS EeePC 1005HA (the first attempt was through NewEgg, and directly contrary to the product description, that adapter was not compatible with this netbook).
This one, purchased through 'power adapter world,' does fit and charge my netbook. Disappointingly, though, it doesn't fit well- the metal metal male end of the cord sticks out about 1/6 of an inch from the edges of the female portion on the computer. I doesn't seem like a sturdy combo, and sure isn't an ideal match. I'll keep the adapter, but only because I've been unable to find an alternative product that is under $60. Hopefully asus will start selling a replacement product themselves soon, but as of 11/15/09 there doesn't seem to be many choices available.

It works, it charges my mini laptop. It doesn't over do it and burn up my battery but, it does fall out if you are not careful with it.

I ordered this cord when the cord for my netbook blew. It took 10 days to receive and lasted approximately 3 weeks. I had it plugged in and went to pick it up and it popped, sparked and was dead. The actual metal prong that plugs into the wall is split down the middle. I would NOT recommend this product.
